Dr. Max Manse

Veterinarian

Dr. Max Manse was born and raised in Wellesley, MA, as a first-generation Swedish-American. After high school, he went on to study Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of Delaware and then moved across the country to attend the University of California, Davis, for veterinary school. He always felt that New England was his home; why would you live somewhere without seasons?

Dr. Manse has a variety of veterinary interests, including surgery, primary care, and acupuncture. Making relationships with clients and patients is one of his favorite parts of the job, as well as trying to help as many animals as possible. He will see and treat any animal that comes through the door, from dogs and cats to reptiles and rabbits. When not at work, Dr. Manse enjoys playing & watching soccer, working in his garden, and cooking. An ideal weekend consists of tuning into the English Premier League in the morning, and tending to his tomatoes, which will be used as a topping on his homemade pizza! Together, he and his wife have a Doberman named Dash and two cats, Darius & Nico. In 2023, they welcomed a baby girl into their family, who now runs their lives at her every beck and call.
